Please note that individual Halloween appointments for adults start at $150 an hour, whereas for kids, they start at $35. Be advised that the pricing varies depending on the desired appearance. In addition, if any unique items/products such as prosthetics are required, they will be charged upfront, and the charges are non-refundable. Certain appearances may entail the use of prosthetics to remain within the designated timeframe. Crafting realistic scars, cuts, and other special effects can take over 2.5 hours. Any time spent preparing (such as making, painting, etc.) prosthetics, clothing, or accessories, will be added to the final balance at an hourly rate of $125 per hour.

RATE NOTICE: Appointments or booking requests made for Halloween Weekend and Halloween Day will be charged at a rate of $200 per hour. These Dates include: Oct 26,2024, October 27, 2024 and October 31, 2024.

RETAINER/BOOKING FEE: To secure a party/event booking, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required, which will be applied towards the remaining balance.

PAYMENT: I acknowledge and consent that the remaining balance, which includes travel expenses and any additional services, must be settled 24 hours before the event date. Failure to do so would constitute a breach of our agreement, and I understand that the retainer fee I have paid will be forfeited without the possibility of transfer.

CANCELLATIONS: Regarding cancellations, please note that if you cancel your appointment at any point, you will forfeit your entire retainer. It's worth mentioning that considerable time and effort are invested in planning, special orders, and assembling your vision. This process commences immediately upon booking your appointment and continues until the scheduled date. Your retainer fee is allocated towards these preparatory costs, which become non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

NO CALL NO SHOWS -In the event of a no-call, no-show, the client's retainer fee and any paid balances shall be forfeited, and the client will not be eligible for rescheduling.

LATE: In the event of tardiness, clients may still receive services if they are no more than 15 minutes late. However, to ensure that the makeup appointment remains within the scheduled time, the makeup look may be adjusted. Pricing will remain unchanged, despite the potential simplification of makeup looks due to tardiness. If a client is over 15 minutes late, they will not be serviced, and the full session amount will be charged. It's essential to be mindful of everyone's time and adhere to the agreed-upon schedule.

LIABILITY STATEMENT: The artist(s) involved in face painting activities shall not be held liable in the event of any allergic reactions resulting from the use of paints and/or products. We utilize FDA compliant paints and cosmetic-grade glitters approved for face painting purposes. However, children with sensitive skin or allergies are advised to abstain from participation or undertake a patch test at the onset of the party. Our artists will not paint children below three years of age and individuals exhibiting symptoms of the following conditions: cold sores, conjunctivitis, infectious skin conditions, eczema, or open wounds due to health and sanitation concerns. While we will use reasonable care, we are not responsible for any damage to clothing or property.

COVID-19: This is a written acknowledgement of the contagious nature of COVID-19 and the preventative measures put in place by Face Painting by Wandie. The document states that the company cannot guarantee that clients will not become infected with COVID-19 and acknowledges the risks of exposure resulting from the actions of others. Clients must comply with all procedures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 during their appointment. By seeking services from Face Painting by Wandie, clients release the company from any liability for bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage as a result of any services received. The waiver and release extend to the business, its owners, partners, and subcontracted artists.

GENERAL PROVISIONS: (a) Should the Client fail to fulfill any periodic or installment payment due under this agreement, the Contractor reserves the right to suspend work until payment is received or a resolution is reached. (b) The Artist cannot be held responsible for any delays or non-performance stemming from circumstances beyond their control. (c) The Artist performs as an independent contractor and cannot be deemed an employee of the Client. (d) Any adjustments to this agreement must be confirmed by both the Contractor and the Client. (e) This Agreement represents the entirety of the agreement between the Client and the Artist, superseding any prior understanding or representation of any nature preceding the date of this Agreement. There are no other promises, conditions, understandings, or other agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.

CLIENT ACKNOLEDGEMENT: The client acknowledges and agrees to remit the full payment amount for the services rendered. The client bears responsibility for any additional expenses, including attorney's fees and NSF/return fees, incurred while collecting unpaid amounts due to the Artist under this agreement. Furthermore, it is the client's responsibility to provide sheltered accommodation in the event of rain and shaded areas to mitigate heat.

Upon submitting payment, I acknowledge that I have carefully read and comprehended all the terms and conditions detailed above. I am aware of my financial responsibility for myself and any accompanying individuals enlisted above (if applicable), and I recognize that any retainer fee(s) paid are non-refundable. I pledge to abide by this contract, which is considered binding. Hence, I accept the Terms and Conditions.
